A warmly recommended hotel...

This great 1-star Roma Reial Hotel is a little gem that could not have a better location. Situated on the beautiful Plaza Reial, in the heart of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, this square is one of the most popular places for entertainment among young people in Barcelona and the area is full of shops, restaurants and bars.

The totally renovated, modern hotel dining room is also a well-known restaurant open to the public in the evening. The rooms are simple but comfortable and clean, all with en suite facilities, satellite television, air conditioning and telephone. A warmly recommended hotel.

Roma Reial Hotel, located in the heart of the city, in the popular old quarter of Barcelona, 'Placa Reial'. Next to the well known ' Ramblas', shopping and leisure area.

"Great value for money"
I stayed at the hotel the weekend 11th May - 14th May. I noticed this hotel had some bad reviews but the weekend i stayed was the grand prix and most places were booked up. This place is a gem. The rooms are average but the price and location were excellent. It cost £90 for 3 nights and is right in the centre of Barcelona in a beatiful plaza. It has a hotel bar next door which is good fun and is close to the subway and is 1 minute from las Ramblas and 5 minutes from the port. I would recommend this place to anyone who isn't expecting a 3*-5* hotel.
