"high quality"
This is the place where you can find both luxury and comfort! I stayed 5 days and very enjoyed. Higly recommended. Foods are great. Rooms are equipped with wonderful amenities. The location is good. Near the underground station that links you to the city centre. Concierge is very helpful. The hotel has a fab pool, spa and beautiful garden where you can relax. Comfortable stay good value! |

A little out of the way but a great place
We stayed at Princesa Sofia 2 nights following our cruise. It's more of a business location but it worked out well for us since we had already stayed near La Rambla. Everyone on the staff was very helpful, the hotel is beautiful and the breakfast included was the best we've ever had in a European hotel. |

"Excellent for business, close to the Stadium."
It is a modern hotel not a boutique one. I've been to this hotel 3 times in the last 7 years all the times for business purposes. The hotel is not in the center but the is the metro station very close by.
Is in the Barcellona FC soccer team area since the Camp Nou is in walking distance, as well as the training area. So if you like soccer this is the place to go. Once occurred to me seat at the bar next to 2 brasilians playing at that time in the team.
From the airport is about 15 minutes by cab. The rooms are big, clean and have all the conforts you might need.

"Highly Recommended Hotel"
We stayed here for two nights in May, and had a very positive experience
Our room was on the 11th floor with a fantastic city view (lifts were frequent and quick). The room was small but had everything we needed, and the bed was really comfortable. Bathroom was fully marbled and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Everything was clean, as you would expect from a hotel of this standard. If staying here with children, I would recommend monitoring their access to the TV – some easily accessible channels were not suitable for their viewing.
The hotel has a business centre where you can use the internet for free (4 computers) by giving your room number – really convenient. There is also in-room Wi-Fi (for a fee).
Lobby very impressive and doormen very attentive. I didn’t try the restaurants or any other services, so cannot comment on those.
Although the hotel is not right in the centre of Barcelona, it is on the main Avenue Diagonal so it is easy to get in an out. It is situated a 5 minute walk from the Maria Christina metro station, which is on Line 3. This takes you straight to the Placa de Catalunya stop (Top of La Rambla) in about 20-25 minutes. Plus the metro is air-conditioned – so much better than London! The “Bus Turistic” tourist tour bus also goes right past the hotel, which is a really convenient mode of transport.
For football fans, this hotel is moments away from Nou Camp, the Barcelona FC stadium. There wasn’t a match on the weekend that we were there though.
All in all, a great hotel. I would go back!

"Loved the SPA"
Excellent Hotel for both business and leisure at 5 min from the stadium. They have a great SPA area with a chill-out garden to relax. The service was also very good.
