" Medium Monegal Hotel is in a great location "
Medium Monegal Hotel is in a great location for a short stay in Barcelona. Ideal for transportation to airport and other parts of city. Hotel is very clean, room spacious and surprisingly good standard for a two star. Only downside is no air con - so best not to stay in hotel during really hot months of July-August. One complaint is that the very efficient cleaners start early in the mornings!! And as the hallways have tiled floors, you can hear them going in and out of each room, chatting away about this and that. |

"I loved this hotel!!!"
I wanted to write a review as i found this website so helpfull, and looking back, the reviews were on the mark!
Me and a friend stayed at the Monegal From 30th april-3rd may, and i have to say i thought it was great! The location was one of the best i saw whilest on the trip, and was glad i had chose this hotel. The Reception staff are really friendly, and helpful, and english good too! The Room was great-although on recommendation i did request a room with Balcony, and yes it was fantastic!(2nd floor) The rooms are very clean, and well sized, the bathroom the same. A maid service daily, which was great! We had the breakfast, and that was the only thing i could fault-although good enough selection-didnt feel it was very fresh, and we only had it once.
Other things recommended from us....do the tour and book from hotel, better discount. Dont eat on the ramblas every night-quite pricey (avoid le poma!)
I will def come back to Hotel Monegal in fact i doubt i could stay anywhere else! Enjoy you lucky things!!
