When I arrived with my mum we were greeted by the friendly and helpful reception. Our room was at the third floor, overlooking the street (which is noisy at nights but we slept through it) and it was spacious. Bathroom was of average size and most importantly it was squeaky clean. We were really impressed with the hotel, especially for the price. 4.0

nice and chearful! I and a friend of mine stayed in Auto Hogar Hotel for three nights and doubtless being just five minutes away from Las Ramblas was the amazing part of our stay. With amazing bars and restaurants we spent our nights there and had no problem on the way come back to hotel. Really fascinating location! The staff was so nice and cheerful, we really enjoyed our stay here. 3.8

Auto Hogar Hotel. Stayed here for 2 nights December 2007. Good location next to Paralel Metro. Quite a busy tourist hotel. Room was basic but breakfast was good. Good central base for exploring this wonderful city.

"Perfect Location" Auto Hogar Hotel is very close to city center, and right in front of it there is a metro station also. Perfect Location. It is a nice hotel for just to stay for night with that price.It is clean and staff is helpfull. The key of the rooms aren't seem very secure. Mitchell, Saint Martin

Nice place for nice price! This is really nice place to stay. Close to many plases to see. Very close to bus and metro. Hotel is on the one of the main streets-just could be better isolation. Good breakfast and friendly stuff (even speaks English :). We would like to return there again! Young couple from Latvia.

"absolutely fabulous" What a find! The location of this hotel is absolutely fabulous. 5mins away from La Rambla. Metro station, bus stop and funiular are two minutes from the hotel. The rooms are clean, with clean sheets and towels every day, two bath towels and four hand towels every day, shower gel and liquid soap are also provided! There is even a hairdryer. The only downfall is there are no tea/coffee making facilities. The staff are all polite and friendly and they all speak english. There are a number of cheap bars that serve food within two minutes of the hotel lobby. Breakfast is a veritable feast! Everything from cornflakes to spanish omelette, baked beans,croissants,bread jam, fresh fruit and tinned fruit, yoghurt to a variety of tea and coffee, so there is plenty to eat! This hotel is a godsend to anyone who wants a good location to base themselves for the ultimate experience that is Barcelona. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone and will definitely visit again in the not to distant future.

"I will return !!!!" The location is a great place to start your explorations of this vibrant city. Situated close to La Rambla, Tour Bus and the Metro you can strike out in any direction and see the sights that Barcelona has to offer. Close by are several bars offering a range of good tapas and more substantial meals should you feel the need after an Auto Hogar Breakfast. (Go there and you will get my drift) The staff are welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean, well maintained and air conditioned (a must in July / August). A party of 10 in unanimous agreement. Go there and enjoy !!

"Warm atmosphere, loved paella" I just came bach from BCN ( 23.09.05). Wonderful hotel. It a very clean hotel and a fantastick breakfast!. Very near to almost everything. The climate was great so were the people. But paid 33 Euros to airport for departure where I paid only 19 Euros when I arrived. So make sure that you get a deal before stting in a cab!! I loved the paella but one thing that bothered me was that I could not drink a cup of coffee with peace. Young mothers with babies went around begging outside coffee shops. Hard to ignore.
