"the hotel is conveniently located close to the metro"
Alimara Hotel's rooms were very spacious, and some even had access to the balcony (for smokers). We stayed on the 5th floor, which was a little noisy (but bearable) from the Highway traffic.
Pillows were very longish and flat (weird), so had to ask for 2 more pillows.
Overall, the hotel is conveniently located close to the metro, and on a L3 line which is directly accessible to city centre.

Alimara Hotel was by far the best hotel and best value we had on our 2 week trip through Europe!
It was very nice looking from the walk-up. We arrived after midnight and the reception area was still open and helpful. The staff spoke multiple languages.
The metro was very close to the hotel. It was very nice and clean. It looked like most of the trams were new. The stations were listed on the tram and would light up as you got to the station, so it was very easy to use.

Most reach breakfst in Barcelona!
Fantastic breakfst with a lot of fresh fruits and juices. Very reasonable price for 4-star service. Large bathroom full of amenities. Short walking distance to the metro station which connect hotel with the city center. |

"Wonderful stay, definately recommend!!!"
Wow! Really enjoyed Barcelona. Booked Alimara at ratestogo. Got it for GBP42 per night. Was a bit hesitant but decided to go ahead. I loved the place. Although on border of Barcelona too far from center to walk. But why walk take the tube, its EUR 1.15 and takes 10 minutes, yes thats 10 minutes (7 stops) to Catalunya. And the hotel definately 5 star all the way. Loved it, loved Barcelona even more. Definately recommend!!!

"wonderful!!"
We stayed at the Alimara hotel last year. I definitely recommend it. The room was very clean, new and nice; the staff, very helpful and friendly. OK, it is a bit far from the city centre, but it only takes about ten minutes to go there. Moreover, there is a metro stop just around the corner and there is a bus stop as well. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet. If I went back to Barcelona, I'd stay at the Alimara again, absolutely.
